Who Are We? What Do We Do?
At Participation Lodge Grey Bruce, our mission is to provide compassionate, inclusive, and person-directed support to individuals with complex needs—empowering them to live with dignity, independence, and meaningful community connections.
As a trusted service provider in the region, we proudly operate in full accordance with Ministry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring our programs and services meet the highest standards of safety, accountability, and quality. We support individuals funded through the Ministry of Community, Child and Social Services (MCCSS), and the Ministry of Health (MoH). From health protocols to service delivery and reporting, we are committed to transparency and continuous improvement in everything we do.
Our ability to serve the community is made possible through essential ongoing government funding and special grants, which allow us to:
-
Maintain and expand vital care services.
-
Deliver inclusive programs and activities.
-
Provide training and support for staff and volunteers.
-
Invest in accessible infrastructure and safe environments.
-
Facilitate community integration for all individuals.
However, government funding alone is not enough. We also rely on the generosity of donors and community supporters to sustain and enhance the programs we offer. Donations play a crucial role in helping us:
-
Offer enriching recreational and social opportunities.
-
Purchase specialized equipment and supplies.
-
Support individuals with needs beyond basic care.
-
Bring new experiences to the people we support.
Every donation—big or small—has a lasting impact on the lives of those we support. Together, with help from our funders and community, we continue to build a more inclusive and empowering future for individuals living with disabilities. We operate using the MCCSS Journey to Belonging: Choice and Inclusion as a guiding framework to maintain person centred care across all programs. See more on Journey to Belonging here.
